Our wedding web site Finalstitch.co.uk provides lots of space for all kinds of 'pre-wedding chit chat' where no topic is taboo among you brides. One of the more 'hot threads' that took root recently is the one on 'sex on your wedding night'. Apparently, this topic gained momentum as more and more users jumped into the discussion, which one user calls funnily a “slightly coarse heading“ ;-).
Almost all brides and newly married users who meet here on the wedding portal www.finalstitch.co.uk plan to enjoy their wedding night to the fullest. Many of you brides are determined that under all circumstances they will spare a last bit of energy for the once in a lifetime experience of a passionate wedding night. The ones who want to make that dream night come true, even after a perfect and long wedding day, do not lack creative ideas.

Almost every idea discussed among you brides on how to achieve a fulfilling wedding night is in itself original. As we learned, one bride actually banned her hubbie from drinking during the wedding celebration… hmm… ;-)
In May I attended one friend’s wedding where they had it all planned out who would look after their two little ones so they could have a ’couply’ time together and enjoy their wedding night in peace. However, their kids screamed so much whilst they stayed with their Gran that she had to take them to the bridal suite and let them spend their night altogether in one room – thankfully the bed was super king size!
If I had to summarise all these ideas, experiences and pieces of valuable advice of the brides relating to the wedding night I’d say as a simple rule: Girls, don’t get stressed if the wedding night doesn’t quite turn out as you had planned. If you fall asleep that night simply due to the exhaustion of the long day and all the preparations, you can enjoy a very pleasant ’morning after’ in bed instead.
My personal opinion is that the wedding night should not be planned in advance. After all, spontaneous actions are always the most successful. I guess in this case this would be true as well ;-) And the foresighted brides among you know already now that the wedding night might even be "postponed" until Monday or maybe until the honeymoon.
