About Belle Brides:

On the most important day of your life, it’s important to look and feel amazing. I can provide a range of services and packages to provide just that.

I’m Kim and am based in the Birmingham area, I am able and happy to travel to wherever you need me to provide the services you need.

I am fully affiliated with BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapists and Cosmetology) – the longest standing and most recognised association for beauty in the UK and received my qualifications from Ellisons Acadamy – a HABIA recognised institute.

What we do:

The most important thing to begin with is to find out exactly what you want from your day. Whether you want make-up for your whole bridal party or just yourself, I can create a package to suit your needs from start to finish.

Your trail:

The first step to take is to book a trial session at your home 2-6 weeks before the wedding day. This means that you will know enough information about the day to create the look you want and that will complement the style of your day, dress and hair. I will provide all of the aftercare you will need. I will also use this trial test for any sensitivities to products prior to your wedding as we want to avoid anything that could cause problems for you, this is especially important if you have sensitive skin.

What will happen:

Your trial will take roughly 2 hours; plenty of time to try out a range of looks and find the right one for you. You will have complete control over what you would like and I will make sure you are 100% happy before you leave at the end of your trial. During this time. l I will record all the information that I need to recreate your chosen look flawlessly for you on the day. This includes taking photos and creating a product map to show the true colours of the products I use, which helps to make sure the look is perfectly replicated.With all of my packages I include free false flare lash extensions, these are a great alternative to strip lashes as they feel light and natural. They last for 4-7 days depending on how you take care of them and can be removed at any time by myself. These are perfect if you want a bit of extra volume and length for the day without your eyelids feeling weighed down and constantly checking if the strip is still in place. If you have any doubts I can provide these at the trial so that you can decide if you like them for yourself, I will provide all of the aftercare you will need.

What to bring with you:

At the trial it’s helpful to see any information you have about the day such as what flowers you will be having, what colour scheme you have, what colour the bridesmaids will be and what style of dress you are wearing. All of these things help to inspire your look and will make sure that it fits in with everything else – you don’t want your make-up to clash with your bridesmaids outfits! It is important to let me know what style of make-up you are used to wearing, as you want to make sure you feel yourself on the day. If you normally wear no make-up I can make sure the products I use are very light and natural, such as tinted moisturisers and natural colours. Whatever the look you wish to achieve we will find it!

Before the big day:

Before I leave you I will provide you with all the information you need to keep your skin healthy in the run up to the event, to make sure that you will look and feel your very best. I will also give you advice for the morning of the wedding – you would be surprised how many brides end up getting cut out of t-shirts after having their hair done! This information should help you to have a relaxed, calm morning as we know you will have a big day ahead of you.

For your wedding:

On the day itself, I will come to your home or venue, allowing you to relax and have everything done at a time that suits you. I am happy to work along side any hair stylists you have and will be happy to help out with anything that needs doing. Your make-up will take about 40 minutes and any other party member will be around 30 minutes each. I will always do your make-up first so that you are left with plenty of time to get yourself ready and organise any last minute details. After all of the make-up has been done I am more than happy to stay until you are completely ready in case you or your party require any final touch ups – after all you never know when the tears will come. I will also be available for other services if you so wish, such as being around for photos to make sure you always look flawless or coming back for your evening reception to touch up or change your make up.
