Assisting in the task of working towards an engaged couple’s dream wedding, by being able to use my experience and expertise in wedding floristry, is very rewarding.
I am a qualified florist (Pershore College of Horticulture) specialising in Wedding Floristy for the past seven years and have designed all types of floral decorations, arrangements and bouquets and buttonholes etc., from the smallest, intimate gatherings to weddings on a grander (but no less meaningful) scale in large venues and marquees.
I find that meeting with the engaged couple (plus other members of the family quite often!) in the comfort of their own home, we are able to build on the ideas and possible theme that they are considering for their wedding. I can advise on the type of flowers most suitable, whether they are opting for a Contemporary, Traditional, Vintage or a Simply Floral Elegant theme, attempting to make the flower designs eye catching and original. I also always aim to use the flowers to their full effect in which ever situation they are placed, with an eye on achieving the greatest visual impact at reasonable cost.
I require a small deposit after the couple have made the decision as to whether they would like to reserve me to design their wedding flowers, and on their wedding day I will deliver all the flowers to the bride and bridal party, and then the ceremony/reception venue.
