After the wedding, what's your future surname?

laraandsteve  @lollih I'm dropping 'Sokolow' for 'Cooper' and I can't wait as no more having to spell my surname, it being spelt or pronounced wrong x

lollih  @laraandsteve lol that's not bad then, I changed my name by deed poll last year from my dads name (betlejewsky) to my mums name (holloway) so you can imagine the mis spelling and mis pronunciation I got! Lol everyone called me betlejuice at school! Lol so I quite like my name now I've changed it, really not keen on my future one but anything is better than betlejuice!xx

jen150912  @lollih I'm going from Tod - a name that no-one can spell, to Grassie - a name that no-one has heard of! I'll be quite happy to change my name as I might be able to come up with a more interesing signature. Not much I can do with 3 letters... x

kookiebek  I have gone from Penwarden to Bennett so from one they cant say let alone spell to one they can spell!!

I am a little sad to have lost my old name x

lollih  @jen150912 sounds fantastic! I am really stuck on the favour front have no idea what to do, the only thing I've thought of as an idea is heart shaped mints, what are you having?xx

jen150912  @lollih I'm doing miniature bottles for the guys and the week of the wedding I'll be making tablet for the ladies - if I'm stressed ou tmy box I'll have my BMs make it!! I've got pics in my blog of their progress so far! x

jen150912  @lollih Tablet is a really sugary sweet - it's like fudge, but brittle. There's a wee plate of it in the photoalbum too! Lovely! It's made of sugar and cream, and boiled to within an inch of it's existance... yum yum yum! xx

raewright  I am super pleased to be getting rid of Brumpton (endless amounts of Trumpton related jokes as well as Brum Car jokes as a child) in exchange for Wright. Finally a name that I never have to spell out for people!

missengaged  I am going from Witton (which I hate) to Ludwick which I prefer but people always pronounce it LudVICK making it sound really German! It's not, he's half Sri Lanken!!x

kookiebek  @missengaged What is wrong with Witton? Its a nice name..Oooh half Sri Lanken... As you are quite dark toned with your hair etc I bet your little one is gorgeous!!xx

missengaged  @kookiebek I don't see my Dad or any of his family so just dislike the name!! H2b is half SrI Lanken, not me ...ha ha!! He has black hair, which is lush and a slight olive skin tone (his Dad is really dark in comparison) and yeah our two are gorgeous..ha ha! But I would say that!! Our little girl has dark hair but light skin but little boy has light hair but his skin is slowly getting darker!! He is also half irish so our kids are a right mix...ha ha!!x

nextmrstaylor  I'm going from Doran (which people rarely pronounce right, they say 'do-ran' or some other form) to Taylor (as you may be able to guess by my screen name, lol). Can't wait to be Mrs Taylor

kookiebek  @missengaged I meant to add 'as you are quite dark also....' lol, meaning with your hair colouring etc so they must have a gorgeous mix in them. Ah see what you mean with the names etc. If I had the history I wouldn't like my name either. I really miss my surname x

manda2107  I'm going from Rawlinson (people always put a G in to make it Rawlingson) to Marshall, a lot easier to spell but i'm now AMM, but get called Manda so i'm Manda M Marshall. Hubby is also M Marshall too.

girlie180  I am going from Martin to Tonks...... My H2B jokes with me and he wants to take my last name so will would become Martin Martin!!!!!! But I have said no to that!
