Anyone getting married 2013?

hayls9186  I'm getting married in April 2013. Have done a few things, such as book the venues and photographer but have now come to a bit of a standstill as not too sure what I can do this far in advance! x

tinks1985  @pepzi25nic i'm getting married on 18th August 2013! So far i have booked the venue for the ceremony and the reception, booked my cars, paid a deposit on my dress, bought my shoes, tiara and veil, booked my florist, designed my invitations, bought all the card to make my invitations and we're looking for a photographer now.

So i'm actually doing really well in terms of organising things, which really makes a change for me.

jo_the_girl  @pepzi25nic I've got my venue booked - Sept 7th 2013. Not paid the deposit yet. I think I've found my dress...tbh I think I've found everything, just not paid for anything yet! I've started making my favours and my bouquet (having a fabric one), and collecting glass jars for candles. We've got a meeting with a photographer on Sunday. Its good to know others are more organised, makes me feel its ok if we book things this far in advance!

jezibella83  @pepzi25nic YAY! I'm getting married on 21st February 2013 and am so excited I really cannot wait. I booked my venue in August 2010, two and a half years before the big day! I found my dress then too but have held out for over a year cos I felt it was too soon to buy it last August but now I have less than 18 months to go I am going to buy that dress in the coming weeks. I've got all my invitations, booked the photographer, been buying glass jars for sweets and getting lots of little bits together like guest book, save the dates, favours (I got them last Christmas). The beauty of organising it so far in advance is you can keep an eye out for special deals, sales etc. I still need to book the church, florist & talk to the venue about catering oh and sort the mens suits out but other than that it's pretty much done

aneleise  @pepzi25nic me! july 2013 ive done quite alot as i cant stand not being ready lol. i like to know what im doing and have managed mini bugdets for each month leading up to the wedding

futuremrsm  @pepzi25nic im getting married march 2013 havent really done anything yet! ive made all the pocket folds for invitations, my mums started decorating them, ive got my jewellery (in my photoblog) ive started on bridesmaid flowers. ive got all the pearl diamanté buckles for wedding plan and invitations and thats about it x

gina130284  Yep, April 6th to be exact. We've booked the cruise where were getting married, booked the wedding package including the legal fees (this also includes a bouquet, buttonhole and photographer), got the cake sorted too.
Also booked the hotel for the party back home too. This includes the penthouse as the bridal suite.
Also found an amazing dress but still looking around as I do feel its too early to commit! Picked the colour scheme (blue) and the theme (nautical).
Been out today and bought Molton Btrown handwash and lotion and candles for the ladies toilets... I know its not necessary, but I do like doing little things like that as people do seem to remember the little things. Also got the table runners for the party, scatter diamonds and tea lights.

lmcadams1  we are getting married on the 8th june 2013 and so far we have booked the venue and the church :O we are currently trying to decide on cars, photographers, vidieographer, and band. we will book these after christmas and then hopefully every thing else will follow.......

mrsjohnson2b  ME! August 10th 2013....it seems soooo far away! So far we have booked the church and venue - they were booked up for most of 2012, hence why we are getting married in 2013. Found my dress, but not paid for it yet, as I'm hoping it will be cheaper in January. Decided on a colour scheme and that's about it. Don't want to do too much now in case I change my mind.

nextmrstaylor  @pepzi25nic we havent set a definite date yet (hopefully it wont be too long before we are able to set it, should be within a few weeks) but it is looking like its going to be 2013 for us, prob around november time xx

broxi_chick2  Dates been organised for a year, originally talked about going abroad but there was people id like to be there that couldnt make it so i've booked a wedding reception also our evening reception (daytime isnt big enough) band is booked and the next step is photographer. Everywhere I go it's like 'when you getting married again, it's not be long in coming round'. lol.x

jenn_mrs_lowery  i want to start planning my wedding august 17 2013. any other brides want to talk, dont know where to start

mcsqueak  We're going to be March 2013, I didn't really want it to be any later than March as I really want to be in my 20's when I get married and time is not on my side if we leave it any later but we have not one thing booked or bought yet. We have decided on a bit of a theme and I'm enjoying looking at the table centrepiece posts. We also know what venue we want and are reasonably sure it should still be free for us the month we want it as have been keeping in touch with the wedding planner there. The only problem with having a date so far in advance (we announced it in January) is that everyone will be expecting something pretty special as we've had so long to plan it but the place where my H2B works is planning a big round of redundancies and I'm a temp who rarely gets a full week's work, so we just can't commit to anything at all at the min as we really can't finalise the budget until we know for sure what we'll have to spare.

futuremrsb  We're getting married 13th July 2013 and can't wait! we have paid desposit for venue and are having the wedding all in one place so no need to organise anything else in that department. We have also paid a booking fee for the registrar to secure our date and time and also picked our colour scheme. And that's about it. :( feel like everything is at a standstill until after Xmas. At the moment I'm just gathering ideas and attending wedding fairs but I'm hitting the wedding planning hard after Xmas and aiming to get at least 2 things done within each month. I have a list if what needs doing so feel organised in that respect just need to get things done and completed lol. But as everyone keeps telling me "you've got plenty of time" but then others saying "it'll be here before you know it!" 2012 is going to my busy year of wedding planning. Can't wait to get Xmas over and done with now! Happy planning everyone xx

gemma_ire_86  im getting married on the 12 oct 2013..... i have everything in my head i want but nothing actually done!! well i have bought my dress because i got it ridiculously cheap so would be rude not to and the fact ive been the same size for yrs so thatll be fine!!!

futuremrsb my bro is just married and when he said two yrs i was like ages but seriously it flew by....u wouldnt believe the mad rush at the end!!!
