Anyone getting married in Las Vegas?

vegasbaby  Yes it's me, kind of obvious from the name haha! My recommendation would be to research the chapels and what kind of hotel you want to stay in too. There are so many different packages it's hard to give any more exact advice really , but if you do have any questions just ask me xx

becky260512  my sister is. i am really excited for her but dont know how on earth we are gonna afford to get out there and she is insisting we go gonna cost us as much to see her married as it has cost us to get married ourselves!

gina130284  Love love love Vegas!!!! Im not getting married there and dont know anyone who is but I did see quite a few weddings whilst there. We went past the chapel in Mandalay Bay and it looked lovely.

mrs_stacey_2013  We got engaged in Vegas last september!! Vegas is AMAZING!!! we would get married there but both have massive families who we want at the wedding and it just wouldnt work out!!! You should do it!!! xxx

kirstydoll3  @babsgs Thats where I wanted to get married but my mum & h2b really wanted me to do it at home so I gave in lol. Anyways I've been to vegas & if Id got married there Id have chosen the top of the Bellagio looking over the fountains - its so pretty xx

babsgs  As you know I'm Brazilian and my entire family lives in Brazil and i and my fiance have a big family.With the pressure I'm having from my family, to have my wedding in England and everyone wants to join ...to avoid upset people ...my fiance and I think the idea of ​​having a wedding in Vegas. thank you all girls =) i will let you know about everything!! katie83  @babsgs this is what me and my h2b have decided to do. We were suppose to be getting married here on 21.07.12 but we are getting too stressed out with it and trying to please everyone is a nightmare, so we have cancelled everything.
We are now looking to get married in Vegas early next year. x

vegasbaby  @katie83 No probs, we booked the chapel ourselves, i have a friend who got married there and recommended it, and we booked the hotel and flights through Virgin Holidays. The great thing about booking with them was that we only had to pay a £350 deposit, and we've only just paid the balance a few weeks ago, so longer to save

I obviously can't give loads of advice yet as we've not been, but from the dealings we've had with the chapel so far i know we won't have anything to worry about xxx

Did you book the hotel and flights first and then the chapel? And did you book the chapel online?

vegasbaby  @katie83 We originally booked for 7 nights but added on an extra 3 nights a few weeks after booking, and we've just booked a Grand Canyon road trip for those three days - v excited!
We booked the chapel before we booked anything else, and we did that online. We booked the flights and hotels through Virgin in Debenhams, and because i'm a flying club member we also go 10% off. I would recommend Virgin as theywere so so helpful and friendly, and they also fly direct from Manchester.
The chapel have also organised our meal after the wedding, in a private room at a restaurant in the Venitian.
