I was just wondering if you girls are having a honeymoon after your wedding and if so where are you going to go? We are still deciding at the moment, the wedding is costing us a small fortune as it is and the fact that we have a four year old son means that it wouldn't be a honey moon as such but a 2/3week family holiday to Florida so that our son could enjoy all the attractions like Disney and Sea world etc..We are looking at it that we have many years ahead of us where we will have the opportunity to get away just the two of us...So I just wondered what you were all doing xxx

We went to Gran Canaria on the Saturday after our Thursday wedding. It was my first holiday without my children who are 17 and 14 but they encouraged me to have a holiday without them and they had friends and relatives looking out for them. It was weird but also wonderful for me and hubby to have a week alone

I cant :( me and my h2b both work in the same place and so the manager cant afford to have us both off at the same time for a fortnight because i want the week off before the wedding. We r gonna have a belated honeymoon tho. Save up some money and go on a more amazing one as we will be broke after the wedding. xx

Were getting married away from were we live, so we are having a few days after we get married in st Ives, then to save up a bit of money then in sept were going to Vegas for the week.

not to sure at mo as we both self employed so if we took time off we wont get paid (only down side to self employed)
but i would like to take a week off really just go away with my hubby
we looked at crete but think we be keeping to uk now but not 100% sure where hahha x

We are having a two part honeymoon! we are going somewhere the day after the wedding (but in the uk) for a few days and then we go a cruise a week later! We decided to do this as we couldn't afford a longer cruise

My parents are giving us a honeymoon as our wedding present. We were told we could choose anywhere so we're off to Barcelona for a week or 2. I've been twice before and love it and really wanted to show my partner the sights, so when it was offered as a gift we snapped it up We'd wouldn't be able to afford it ourselves for a year or two otherwise.

We always said we wanted Japan, but obviously that's massively expensive! We're going to take it slowly, therefore. We'll go away for four nights in Center Parcs after the wedding, just the two of us, and then give it a yer or so to save up for Japan and go then.

We're hoping to get away, would love to go to mexico. But we're going to leave it last minute and see what we can get mainly because we're scared of getting in to debt. Everything seems to be costing more than we thought. if we dont manage to get away soon after the wedding we'll just wait a little while until we can afford something. xx

We are having 2 honeymoon's, one just the 2 of us and the other with our 2 children, my parents are amazing and will be having the children. Think our honeymoon will either be the Maldives or the Seychells Not too sure when exactly as H2B works off shore and will be starting a new contract just after the wedding, so once he a definate date, we can get on and book!! So it will either be before he starts his job or his 1st trip home

We're getting married on the Saturday and then on the Sunday we are jetting off to the Maldives for two weeks. We wouldn't have been able to afford it but h2b won a competition where the prize was £5000 of holiday vouchers so we thought why not? Going straight after the wedding as I want to finish work on the Wednesday and return on the Wednesday three weeks later and I have limited holidays (taking 14 days in total for the wedding/honeymoon). @emmalouise, @quoth_the_raven Egypt rocks - have been twice and going back soon x

We were planning on going on honeymoon straight after the wedding... but that was before h2b and in laws booked grand prix tickets. We are planning on either driving around Canada as I have relatives there, or get the ferry over to europe and drive down to Italy xx

we r gettin married in a hotel so 1st night will b there then it depends when flights r but its looking like our honeymoon will either be the week after our wedding or 2 wks after depending on flights. We r travelling from scotland 2 manchester 4 our flights and may stay an extra night or 2 b4 the honeymoon then after cause we r going 2 CUBA!!!! A gorgeous 2 wk honeymoon in a 5+ star butler serviced hotel vilas kinda thing. Its gorgeous. Our honeymoon will b our 1st holiday on our as we usually take my step son plus will be our 1st holiday abroad 2gether, my 1st abroad in over 12yrs(at the time lol) and h2b's 1st holiday abroad ever. Hes been on planes and abroad but was in caravans when he was a child and in the army when he was older. Cant wait 2 wks of just us
