Having sorted out my dress months ago it is dawning on me that I need to get a move on and sort out the rest of my outfit. Shoes seem to be a tricky part of this. I don't really want to buy them online as I think it is important to try them on to make sure they fit well and are comfortable but the bridal shops don't seem to have much choice, with each shop only stocking a few styles. So ladies, where did you get your shoes - online / from a bridal dress shop / somewhere else?

Next for me too they have a good selection and there online ordering is fab too it arrives next day and they will collect if not right. Worth havin a look in their sale too. They tend to have vertually the same shoes each season and just change tiny details. There is a pic of mine in photos I added it yesterday

my friens of mine is a wedding shoe designer. ~You go to to her studio and choose everything from the style, material, heel height and details. Pricy but totally unique!

cicmatag@loves_to_dance mine were new from ebay but originally from Debenhams (Kurt Geiger killer heels, love them). It really depends on whether you want "traditional" white/ivory shoes or something with a bit of colour. I can highly recommend Next like the ladies before me, their shoes are amazing and reasonably priced.

Rachel Simpson. She's online but has stock in bridal shops. They're slightly pricey but nowhere near as unaffordable as some! Plus I love them

I had the same problem. Most bridal shops said they don't stock shoes anymore. I got mine from a site called brandosa. Was a bit worried about getting them online too, but I've still got 8 month to go so plenty of time if they are horrible when they arrive! Good luck Xx

mine are from barratts :D they matched with everything perfectly (even though I got my jewellery first then the shoes and then the dress) but had to send the first set back to them because when I got them I told the lady I wanted a new pair as they are my wedding shoes and she said no problem, got them home and she had given me the pair that I tried on which had been sat in the window and very mucky from other people trying them onto. I was fuming but I went back and the manager was ever so helpful even gave me the protection spray they sell for free!

Thanks for your responses girls. I now have my shoes too I found out that John Lewis stock Rainbow Club who do some lovely traditional wedding shoes (that can also be dyed to match your outfit, if you so wish). I just need to try them on with my dress to make sure that they match OK.
