goldentramp Is anyone else a DTTB junkie?
I always record it and watch it at the weekend - and I'm just watching the sci-fi one... OMG!
Has anyone's husband-to-be kept anything a secret from you about the wedding?

gina130284 Yes I watch it every week, but have only been interested since getting engaged this year!
My H2B hasnt kept anything from me no, but I do always ask him 'would you choose that dress for me' haha.

@goldentramp Yes I absolutely love it, although most of the time it pisses me off - I can't believe they have not discussed at least minor details like the dress etc. before filming. And all the moaning "I know I'm going to hate the dress" - you have not even seen it yet so shut up lol.
It's a brilliant program, I love it, wouldn't miss it for anything. Top Gear's on the other channel? Tough
I know I couldn't do it, I'm too much of a control freak, I simply HAVE to know about everything and organise everything, so for this reason my H2B did not keep anything a secret from me. Unless he's planning a surprise for me - knowing him he probably is ;)
My all time favourite is the Greek wedding on HMS Belfast - that was soooooo brilliant!
Which one is your favourite girls?

mrslightfoot I love it! Especially the Vegas one!!! I think I'd have really hurt that guy if I was her, family is so important to me, he was so lucky she showed up!!!
I always said I'd trust my man to do it, but I've enjoyed the organization so much I'd be gutted I'd be missing out

@cicmatag they must show their H2B's everything they like prior to them even knowing they've got through. My H2B already knows what i want and like. xxx

@lusheeuslisa my hubby to be applied for it a short while ago as it was advertising for people still planning weddings this year but we've never heard back off them, hubby to be even mentioned that we wanted to get married before he goes off to afghanistan next year in may, though that more than likely wont be happening now as hes got to have a hernia operation at the end of december so more than likely to fit enough by then so will be going later in the year.
If we ever did get to go on it he knows everything that I would like so I know I could trust him to make the right descisions xx

tinks1985 i love don't tell the bride! I watch it every week without fail. I think my favourite this season has been the pride and prejudice one and the one where the groom picked the same flowers the bride's sister wanted (episode 3 i think). I especially loved the vegas one, i think i'd have really stuck to my guns if i'd been her and not gotten on the plane. This might sound a bit harsh but i love it when the grooms look like they're getting it all wrong just to see how the bride's react lol
I think you've got to be very brave to do something like that though and i too would be very surprised if they hadn't discussed the things that they want before the filming starts. I trust my h2b to plan the wedding completely. i know he'd do a good job and after my little experiment with the pictures of the dresses i know he'd pick the right dress for me too. However, what would really get to me is the 3 weeks with no contact, i can't go a couple of hours without sending him a message or phoning him and as for 3 weeks without seeing him at all, i think i would go mental.

cicmatag I think a few months ago one of the brides on the forum here mentioned that she knew the vegas couple and the producers said that if they don't get married they would have to pay all the money back. Not nice.
@nextmrstaylor I bet even if you did get to go on it they would tell you to "dream about" something completely different, like a big manor house with a princess dress, even if you both want a country fete style wedding with a simple dress, so the show gets the tension and the drama bla bla bla...
I know I moan about it and I am very cynical but I love it anyway lol

mrsjeffrey2be Hey ladies ! I actually applied for it and i got a email back of them asking for a picture of myself and robert so they can put a file together for us and they would get bck to us! I emailed and emailed after hearing nothing for ages and was really gutted afer getting my hopes up to be shoved in the dark! I joined a group on fb and a few of the women that appeared on it are on the group !!! Apparently you have to go to London for auditions to see how you react in frount of the camera before hand and then they willl select you !!
I am a massive DTTB fan ! But i have pretty much done everything now an it would be pointless!! I watch it all the time !! !! I heard "rumors" from a wedding shop in Manchester that the dress is picked by the show !!! How true i dont know! !! That was the woman who owned the shop who told me and said she had a DTTB agreement! !!! <<< Have no idea if it was true but made me think !!!!
I still watch it ha ha !!! It always makes me laugh how at the end the bride says I COULDNT OF DONE IT BETTER IF I HAD TRIED! yea what eva !!!
