Yes I would and have tried emailing to see about applying for the show! But I never get any replies! I would trust my fiance with my life and he knows what I like (or at least he should know! We've been together 10 years!!) And if he didn't get things right then he would know about it for the rest of his life!!! haha Would you trust your man amandasteadman?! x

missengaged@amandasteadman Yes I would. It would prob not be exactly how I want it but think he would do a pretty good job!! We applied for that last year, never thinking we would hear anything. However, we both then received separate phonecalls and both had to do 2 long telephone interviews, we then got invited to London and had to do further interviews in front of the camera, along with the best man, together and separately. We then never heard anything back so have since booked our wedding ourselves as now in a position to do so!! Are you applying to go on?! As @futuremrsb has asked, would you trust your h2b?!x

I think my H2B would do a better job than me! Because I keep cutting back on things I would like as they are too expensive and I always feel bad buying for me! But he isreally thoughtful in what he does for me and sometimes I think he knows me better than I know myself!!
Im not pretending it would be easy however to not have any control particularly as I like to be in control and also being away from him for 3 weeks would really get to me!

No! Going by the wedding dresses Andrew has pointed out in magazines that he likes he would have me in something silky, slender and under-rated whereas I am going for a super beaded sparkly effort. He is quite shy so the whole wedding would be under-rated but I'm not shy and am such a perfectionist (and control freak if the truth be told) that I really couldn't let him plan the whole wedding without me, I wouldn't like that. Plus as @kookiebek says I couldn't be away from him for 3 weeks. However I think if my best mate (maid of honour) was guiding Andrew then he could come up trumps x

nextmrstaylor@amandasteadman after seeing your photoblog and my hubby to be saw he said he woldnt mind doing that, and reckons he could do it within the 3 weeks, i did have to pint out to him that they planned every single detail, including going shopping for the bridesmaids dresses and the wedding dress and having to know my size, I reckon he would do a good job of it as we have both talked about what we want and what we would like, he's agreed to apply for it so im gonna send off for an applcation form,so excited eeeekkkkk

Well I hate to be the one that comes out and says it but......surely these women prep their fella's on what they expect. Also, as if they have absolutely no contact with each other for 3 whole weeks?? I believe that the odd one or 2 have been genuine but I know that I would be on the blower to Steve every night after lights out directing him on what he couldnt do (I would die if he got the dress wrong or missed ou any invites) I love the programme though so I'm sorry if I've been a party pooper but I just think you would still be more than able to have your hand in the planning.

they ask you to pick a dress that you in fact love and pretened to hate it. then it looks like your hubby to be is getting you the dress you hate but really its one you love, the do things like that. xxx

As my h2b hasn't organised anything (and I mean anything) apart from the firework display I dont thing I would like to trust him with our wedding. He hasn't a clue about what I have sorted out and think the whole thing will be a complete surprise. Besides that I think he would spend 95% of the budget on a firework display

duffy86s@amandasteadman my h2b cant een manage to book the enue and registras for the same time so ie taken control.
well if he pulls his finger out he can sort out the suits, but i think itll be me booking the appointment as he doesnt really seem bothered to move from the sofa.
hes had imput to the wedding though hence we now have planet names for our tables and stars featured throughout.
he helped chose the cars but i went and booked them. i would never trust him though with the whole wedding it would end up being an arsenal v star wars wedding not good at all lol.

duffy86s just watched dont tell the bride las vegas. and omg. if my fiance booked our wedding in vegas and then turned around and said that my sister couldnt come but my parents could i would be fuming as well. i dont think i could let my fiance organise anything really. i really feel for the woman on the tele. how would you react to hearing ur weddings far away with only your parents there if your dream wedding was a big family knees up type?
or letting him organise everything on your behalf?
19. Mar at 19:54
sophie2bgillies @duffy86s i know that was a hideous episode i hated that selfish guy. To be honest though if you sign up for a tv show you know its going to be trouble- i know the people do it so they can get the 12grand for their wedding but they're still making a mockery and selling out the most special day of their lives- i'd rather not have the money. I hate most of the couples on that show they're a bit stupid and most of them shouldn't be getting married lol :P xx
19. Mar at 21:13
alyson to be honest i dont think that the bride and goom have no contact leading up to the wedding, if they know the r going to be on a show like that they would have talked about it before hand and basically arranged everything! well thats wat i would have done lol missed that episode, wish id seen it!
19. Mar at 21:27
duffy86s its a good episode but yeah i agree with alyson surely you would of pre planned wot u like and dislike lol.
19. Mar at 22:13
nextmrstaylor @duffy86s I remember watching that episode, it was shocking, I couldn't believe that she still went ahead and married him, most of the fellas seem to think its their way of getting things exactly how they want and not really thinking of their bride and getting the chance to behave like big kids, plus i couldnt do what the brides do and go n shop for a dress knowing that i wouldnt be buying it, though i have jokingly said to me hubby to be that maybe we should apply for it so we could get the wedding paid for but i told him id be telling before the show started what i wanted so he'd know what to get and book, but as @sophie2bgillies says it does make a mockery of it and I don't think that i would want a film crew following me around on my wedding day and filming the whole wedding as we would have to ask all the guests (and theres at least 90 of them) if they would mind being filmed
20. Mar at 08:40
mizza1987 oooh apparently someone i work with is friends with them and the bbc told them that if they cancelled, they had to repay the money............!!!! huge mockery of the whole foundations of marriage in my opinion. i always said i'd trust my OH to do our wedding.......until we actually started planning, and i was talking about flowers and he asked ''well, do we really need them?'' erm yes dear, we do! xx
20. Mar at 09:01
duffy86s @mizza1987 oh my thats awful it makes them feel like theyre cornered into marrying then. lol mine doesnt understand about chair covers at the moment so i know how that feels and flowers he has no choice he only gets a button hole lol i love winding him up though i leave pictures of really horrid bouquet pictures around the house nothing like i actually want. he looks and gives me the raised eyebrow look of oh my god your not being serious lol. but i cant believe that show its good if your stuck and need help with ur weddig and dont mind a film crew but i would hate it. @nextmrstaylor i also have over 90 guests and asking them for permission would be a nightmare to.
20. Mar at 11:15
mizza1987 i think i'd be more stressed if i'd left my OH to do everything. he's come up trumps when i've asked for his input - he found the venue and the cake picture that i gave to the baker..........but things like colour schemes, flowers, chair covers etc he's just sat there, looked confused/dumb and said whatever you think is best dear.........!!!! love that phrase the programme makes me laugh when the bride says ''i've always wanted to get married at such-n-such a place'' and the groom completely ignores it and books something else!!! AND how do they get their dresses?! mine's been on order since december and i shan't get it to march?!!!!!! xx
20. Mar at 12:39
littlemissshowoff Oh my god, I've just watched it on iPlayer. What a selfish prat! He knew that her family meant the world to her and he still went ahead and booked a wedding without them! I'd be absolutely gutted if that happened to me.

alyson @mizza1987 your other half sounds a bit like mine basically just leaves me 2 it now that we found the venue. It is possible to get ur dress without waiting months, i didnt have the time to wait months, went to a bridal shop that was having a sale was out half hour later with my dress and all accessories and my flower girl dress! i was freaking out that id never find 1!

I would trust h2b to plan everything, but I thinks thats because I never knew what kind of wedding I wanted so would have been happy if we'd been abroad just the 2 of us or at home with 100 guests. I can understand why most girls who have been planning their big day for years wouldn't trust them to do it though! I like watching dont tell the bride but I'd never want to have my wedding go on tv.

Definitely wouldn't want to go on this - not because I don't trust him but I'm really enjoying the planning! I like planning stuff! Also, he has said very clearly that he doesn't care about flowers, favours, colours, cake etc. so I'd blatently end up with a very dull wedding!
