First wedding dance

emj85  @getmetothechurchontime Hiya we've had loads of choices first it was going to be Shania Twain - You're Still The One, then Stevie Wonder - I Just Called To Say I Love You because we were having a June wedding on a Saturday. Then OH and I were in our office, I was doing uni work and he was on his comp and we had the radio on and Billy Joel - Just The Way You Are came on and we looked at each other and smiled then he kept playing it to me. Then at the end of our house warming party (he had connected the music to his surround sound in the lounge) he put it on and we danced to it just me and him and we knew that it had been made 'special' so that is now 'our song' xx

emjleo85  @getmetothechurchontime We dont have an 'our song' either but we love the same music and enjoy going to gigs together. We've chosen Iris by the goo goo dolls....its not your traditional wedding song but we both love it and its totally us xx

getmetothechurchontime  We like footprints in the sand but my friend had twin boys 3 months early who sadly died and she had that song played at their funeral so don't want that. At the minute there's 4 songs we like
Westlife, flying without wings and us against the world and then lionel richie stuck on you or penny lover but I just can't decide if I like any of them enough to have as the first dance.

laraandsteve  We're having Alicia Keys 'no one' not long after we first got together, Steve posted the lyrics to this on FB and wrote them in a card too. We always said it'd be our first dance song. Tried to chose something that isn't too long either x

mrsmander2b  Originally we were having "Amazed" by lonestar as this was our song when we got together 6 years ago, since then we have been to several wedding where this song has been the first dance so after alot of thought we decided to have a song that was known but not as common for first dance and not the original version, so we are now having Amy Winehouse's version of "Will you still love me tomorrow" I love this song its played in my fav film dirty dancing but this version is a lot slower and beautiful i played it to my fiance and he loved it. x

gina130284  My friends are having Shania Twain 'from this moment' as one of the songs whilst signing the register... very appropriate!! We're considering having an instrumental version of 'Youll never walk alone' as we sign the register, and Take That Greatest day as we walk back up the isle together xx

tinks1985  @getmetothechurchontime I love flying without wings! At the very first party i went to with my h2b this was the last song of the night and the only song that h2b actually got up and danced with me. He's not a big fan of dancing and his family were surprised i even managed to get him up for that one.

I really want "all about you" by Mcfly, it's not really 'our song' as such but i have it on my phone as h2b's personal ring tone and every time i hear it i think of him (and i hear it a lot cause i'm a huge Mcfly fan) and when i went to see them in concert last year i actually cried when they played it. H2b hates mcfly though so i have a feeling i may not get my way on this one
