@cyprus_wedding You might need to check with the venue but what about confetti or the likes of table confetti with hearts?

  • Do not know when the wedding will be
@cyprus_wedding I also heard of fabric petals - not sure about prices though. At a family autumn wedding last year, they used dried leaves but just saw your date in Summer and being in Cyprus - leaves might not be a great idea. Ohhh another brain wave - maybe little candies? yum emoticon

Do you just want them to be held for photo purposes?! How about shells, being as your getting married abroad or something beachy?!....starfish etc!! Hmmm, tough one if you really don't want petals or flowers of any kind!x

@cyprus_wedding What about some sweets of some kind that flowergirls could give out to the guests whilst waiting for photos etc x

Thanks everyone for your ideas, gave me alot to think about, like the candy idea and the shells, just don't know if the two girls will throw the petals as think they will be distracted by everyone watching them lolxx

@cyprus_wedding No worried! What about just having a foral display sat in the baskey then so it will still look pretty and all they have to do is walk and hold it rather than dropping petals! My daughter has been flower girl twice (once when she was 3, then again when she was 4) ! One time she had a basket with a flower arrangement in and the other one was a wand with flowers on!x

@cyprus_wedding Apparently our flowergirls were quite amusing when scattering the petals when they walked down the aisle- think they were a bit nervous and ended up with huge handfuls and throwing them way up high.
All the guests found it very endearing, I'm gutted I missed it as it sounded cute.
My flowergirls had wands for the photos later on, they much preferred those emoticon
