 Hi ladies im a bit stuck i currently have chosen my bridesmaid dresses for my 3 adults, 1 teenager but stuck on my flower girl. She will be 8 years old but is almost 4ft 6. She is a real girly girl and would love a full floaty dress but am not sure whether being as tall as she is would be better in a junior version of the adult ones. Im getting married next may 2013 as worried she will be as tall as me im only 5ft. What do u think do i go for a full floaty flowergirl or play safe with the junior version?

 @leakylou
Id wait and see how tall and grown up she is and then decide nearer the time. My friend gets married in March and we've literally only just got her flower girl dresses. Her's are 2, 7 and 9. The 7 and 9 year olds are having these:

You'll probably have a better idea this time next year, and if you decide to go with a junior version of the other bridesmaid dresses this will leave you plenty of time to order it in.

 @leakylou I was the same, my niece is 9 and nearly as tall as H2B's 21 yr old sister, when we went to try the dresses she wanted the girly one with the white bottom, but i just didn't think it'd look right as they're so close in height so i went for the junior version of the adults, she was in a bit of a strop about it afterwards but my sister said don't go for what she likes as i ordered them a year before, god knows what she'll like by then. Well she was right, when the dresses came she absolutely loved it and didn't want to take it off!! There's a pic of them in them on my photoblog. x

 My daughter is 10 and taller than my adult bm. We had to order an adult dress and they will make it fit her body shape. Is there anything in somewhere like monsoon that is floaty but not too much like traditional flower girl dress?

 @leakylou how about something like the dress i have bought for my flower girl? It's still a bit floaty but also a little bit grown up (if that makes any sense lol) and they do it up to age 14 so i'm sure you'll find a size to fit her too. It's a BHS dress, The style name was "Tess" i think. There's a picture in my photoblog if you wanted to look at it.
