How many wedding Order of Services?

clareandneil2012  I am glad you asked this I was wondering myself. I think it will probably be 1 per person as some people like to keep them but I would rather 1 per couple being I am making them

missl  I'm going to do one per couple, with half that again on standby! Better to be safe I reckon...

jen150912  @claireandneil2012 1 per couple would probably work, it's more likely to be the ladies that keep them ;) @missl that sounds like a good plan I guess that'll be about 40 or 50 I'm ordering then...

mrsctobe  See we are planning one per couple, but as I know we are going to have 'normal parishoners' come too, we really don't know how many to do. We are doing these ourselves, all other stationery is being ordered in, so it's a good question @jen150912 xx

jaxmiller  We have done 70 orders of service. We have 80 guests and are planning one per a couple then a few extra,you also need to remember that you will need one for the vicar and anyone else from the church such as organist so that they can follow the service.

dancing_girl  @jen150912 We've got 80 people invited to the service, plus priest, organist, trumpeter, and there are bound to be some parishioners etc who also come to the service. We've done 100 Orders of Service, hopefully that will be enough for at least one per couple! :o) Xx

squrt  iv done 80 we have 80people invited but not all be able to come and ours is more an order of the day than service even tho we r marring in a church, so wasnt planning on the vicker really having one may have to rethink well there done now lol x

becky260512 I had planned to make 96 order of services but my mum doesn't think this will be enough we are inviting 170 adults 50 kids. I am quite enjoying making them so I don't mind making more but I really don't want to make more than I need to. All advice gratefully recieved!

jen150912 @becky260512 Are you having 170 + 50 to the ceremony? If so, I'd make more, as most guests will want one each, but the kids might not bother x

missmaxine well my vicar told me that it was up to me but that i should make enough for the people that i know are attending and the people who arent comming that we would like to give it to like my grandma and his gran. she also said to do a load of sheets with just hymns incase more people than expected turn up. hope this helps

mysterymeg I'm doing one between two plus a few spares. So for my 112 guests think ill do 70 OOS. Remember to keep one or two back for your wedding memory box or equivalent if you want to keep one
