How much does it cost to have your wedding dress dry cleaned?

I have been told it cost £150 by a friend, any more ideas on what it costs? Because I think this is an awful lot.

@bumblebeezzz my friend had hers dry cleaned cost her £70 for them to collect clean and bring back it took 2 weeks but they were great ill ask her now for u

@bumblebeezz I don't know how much they actually cost but I do know Johnsons the cleaners have got an offer on on cleaning wedding dresses at the moment xx

is steam cleaning the same thing cos the bridal shop steam cleaned my mums dress as she bought it there because there was a water mark on it and they offfered to do mine for nothing even tho i didnt buy it there

I got a quote of £90+ from Johnsons and I asked them how much it would be for mine she asked me the price of the dress, as it was £165 she said they would do it for the £90, but I think it does depend on the material and layers on the dress, my friend got a quote of £160 which is pretty much the value of my dress.

Ask the store where you're buying your dress from as well. There's one in Birkdale, Southport who have washing machines to thoroughly clean them (if the right material) and they charge £40!

My mum is having mine cleaned before the wedding because of where I got it from. She's taking it to a local shop and they've said £50+ depending on fabric and detail on the dress.
