It is currently 1.05am and I have lot's of little questions going through my head!
I am not staying at our wedding venue the night before the wedding. So seen as the cover and hanger will be at my parents house- how will I get my dress home the day after the wedding?
I think the Mother would go spare if I slung it over my shoulder and threw it on the back seat of the car!

I take it you're getting ready at your parents house and travelling to your wedding venue all dressed and ready?? Put another hanger and cover in your overnight bag - it doesnt have to be the original ones- just something to protect it until you get it home.

I just slung it over my shoulder and threw it on the back seat, mind. It was only for one trip. It would have been easier if I hadn't, though, so I'd go with one of the above plans if I were you.

Is your photographer taking pictures of you getting ready? Could they take it in their car? I've done this before for brides, plus I always carry a supply of essentials; you never know when someone will need a safety pin, cover up makeup or quick dry nail varnish top coat. I just need to remember not to drive home with the suit bag still in the boot!!

mrsmorrisontobe@kayren555@mshella@gina130284@quoth_the_raven@essex_bride@katedarlin Thanks girls I think I'll give h2b a spare coat hanger and the cover to take with him to the hotel the night before the wedding and then get a clean light duvet cover from my Mams to cover it up for that night. I'm not so bothered about The Dress getting dusty in one night but I think we are having a few visitors so don't want any sneak previews!
The day after the wedding I can then take it home in the cover and sling it in the footwell of the muddy side of the car! ha ha
@nickyhawkins I have to say I think you a the lovliest photographer EVER! When BM no 4 got married we had a really helpful hairdresser and it those kind of things that people remember xx
