hi ladies.me and H2B are getting married in october.Hes not that fussed for a honeymoon,i keep bringing it up and he just says we have more important things to think about and we cant afford it aswell as wedding,in an ideal world we wud be going abroad but we have 2 kids and none of us have passports at minute,so i am happy with a nice break in uk,centerparcs seems very appealing,just us and kids in a log cabin chillin out,dont have to spend a fortune when we r there,but he just doesnt even seem interested in that! its really annoying me,i know we arent really flush at min but surely we cud try and get even a weekend away!! sorry for the rant,just annoyed me and wondered if anyone else was having same problem lol.xx

what about a long weekend in cornwall?. We try to go for my birthday which is november and its great at that time of year cos on the coast its rugged and romantic, you can usually hire a 2 bed cottage for less than £300 for 4 nights. let me know if it appeals and i will try and look up which companies we booked through. wherever you end up im sure you will have a great time.

I am getting married in 8th October and we have 3 small children so am in the same boat as you. We are a bit strapped at the mo but my lovely MiL is going to baby sit the kids the weekend of the wedding and we are having a dirty few night alone!!! which let me just tell you the last time we were alone for the evening together was 3 years ago so this is something special. We are actually going back to the hotel we went to when we first started dating so the place really means something to us and its cheap too cause we were skint then lol Hope you can get him to do something - you only marry each other once xx

yeah im having the same problem!!! we can go abroad fo 1 week as we are leaving are 3 kids with grandparents but he shows no interest so ive give up for the minute.

the lake district in oct/november is stunning. All the trees are changing colour and it is quite quiet because it is out of tourist season. We went a few years back and stayed in a cottage whihc was on a farm and the farm owner let my daughter feed the animals with her was lovely and not too expensive.
