HI newby here,
Im getting married in july 2012 and starting to get stressed out by it now and ive got ages to go and loads to do. And to be honest dont even know where to start!!!

My advice would be to start trying on dresses now. I'm getting married on 20th June next year, ordered my dress last month and the lady said it will come in around April next year (they are timing it to come in 2 months before the wedding). Even if you order your dress online it's still worth trying on as many as you can to know what suits you, the venue and the theme (I thought I would go for a big princess-y dress and ended up with a fitted mermaid style satin number ;)
Also have a look at rings, before the price of gold/platinum and VAT go up again.
