Need help with ideas for wedding colours. I live in SA and will be scorching on the day i am getting married at the end of the summer. I would like pink but fiance wont wear a pink tie... i wanted to encorperate black and white with bright pink but fiance will be weaqring grey suit so wont go... he would like chelsea blue but ummm not sure....!!
Some colours cant be done as already done in the family already such as purple and turqouise....
Need help and suggestions please.....

you could have him and any other men in chelsea blue for ties and then accent it with the pink for the chair cover ribbons, the two colours would look lovely together.

tinks1985@sassyslm why don't you go for a pink and ivory colour scheme? then h2b could have an ivory tie and the bridesmaids (if you're having any) could have pink dresses. If you didn't want to do that you could use chelsea blue and pink but you will have to carefully match the shade of pink you use as some may not go with such a strong blue.

I was about to suggest the same as @tinks1985 ! Have the colours you like and put h2b in ivory/white to match you, that's what most grooms do anyway!!x

I always wanted pink andblack for mine but H2B chose blue instead!! Ithen narrowed itdown to teal!!
I wouldnt have your husband in colours to match the colour scheme/theme though. Mine will be wearing a white shirt, ivory waist coat and cravat. Grey and ivory will look great. The bestmen/ushers can have the pink xx

My sister (ljmac1979) also came up with an idea to have Lilac, which is a wonderful idea. My b2b is wearing a light grey suit as very hot in SA in march and will be wearing a white shirt with it. Im not always sure that white shirts and ivory ties always go together, plus my cousin just did it!! I think Lilac is the way forward for us : ) thanks so much for all your ideas!!

although saying that is a long time ahead and i am known to change my mind? If he ended up wearing ivory i would need an ivory dress wouldnt i?
