Hi everyone

I had some great feedback on my last post asking where and how you found out about FS.
A lot of you love the site and gave some great recommendations how to spread the FS word.

Following on from this, I need YOUR help in reaching out to new brides to be …...

How/what do I have to do?

Simply go to our official Facebook page and become a fan by liking it https://www.facebook.com/Finalstitch.co.uk

There’s a little discussion on the FB page about the new princess-inspired Disney and ALfred Angelo dresses, please add your own comments/like to this, what do you think about the dresses and do you have a favourite?

I would be really grateful if each of you could do this as we could definitely reach out further through Facebook and spread the word about Final Stitch.

Also, if you have any suggestions on on what you would like to see on our Facebook page, all ideas are welcome! Maybe we could have a question/discussion topic each week from YOU and post it up on FB each week.

@boycee Hi, I have done the dresses and also but to share your page on my profile/wall, hopefully if several people do this it will go out further, I know several people who are planning their weddings so hopefully some of them will see it.

The questions/discussions are a good idea it will hopefuly get more brides involved and people will find some good answers to questions they may have had before.

I cant think of anything else at the moment, will think on it. But facebook definitely the way forward So many people use it. Dont know if you can do Apps for phones but thats also a trend which is growing more people use their phones for everything.

@boycee What about getting the word out about the site to all the big wedding shows? Hundreds of brides attending these events and if each of them picked up a leaflet about FS and over 50% sign up you could have doubled your numbers before you know it!!!

i tell everyone about it when people come in for wedding quotes i always mention it and gie them the address x

It would be really great if everyone could ''like'' the Facebook page, so we can increase the fan base.
So far we have 5 extra fans, so if you're not yet a fan on the page please do so, you'd be surprised at its reach.

@boycee Being as interactive with the fans on a daily basis is good,n dont leave it soo long between posts ( like weeks) as people may loose interest in the page. Things like Setting up discussions and using the question poll to ask questions is a great way to get interaction and when someone answers a question it is shown in their news feed for their friends to see, Also you could encourage Brides to be that know other Brides to be to share the page and pass it on x

I agree with Essex Bride about posting on a regular basis. Another way to reach out to people is a prize give away, it doesn't have to be big... Just an idea x

Thanks everyone for all your input (once again!).
I will try and post something now every week, and questions and prize give aways sound a great idea. We will be working on revamping the page, but in the interim I will post weekly topics on our FB page.

@boycee I would be careful if you was to do Prize Giveaways via Facebook as I have known them to be funny about it and make Pages/ Groups remove the Competitions/ Give aways they have posted and if they didnt they have removed the pages / Groups.. Totally silly I know!
