People jealous of our wedding - anyone else finding this?

mum_of1  @jenbridetobe I dont av any1 jelous over my weddin but do have my best friend sister jelous of me n dont like me cus i 2 close to her sis (my best friend) apparently reckons i takin her away from her family sometime. So can understand how u feel a little bit lol PS there is nothin wrong we goin all out on ur weddin day every woman entitled 2, My partner is muslim and we are gettin married in his mosque but are havin the traditional reception party we fam n friends (me in dress,moh n bridesmaid n pageboys etc) we have had some comments on this but to hell we what other people think it me n h2b who are ones who matter on OUR weddin day :D Just ignore them hun as my status said couple weeks ago (parden the language) jelousy a disease so get well soon B***H! lol xx

jenbridetobe  Ha ha May use that status myself! LOVE IT!!! thanks chick its not getting me down just think people should worry about there own lives. I have an amazing life and know im very very lucky to have what I have and do what I do. I dont take anything for granted and always give something back where I can. mum_of1  @jenbridetobe i know right it a fab status! hehe Glad u not lettin them get u down i think ur wed plans look amazin! cant wait see the pics :D Life is 2 short to take anythin for granted (i lost my uncle,mum n grandad all within last yr!) Im sure ur the lady who said givin wed money to charity that is the most amazin thing i have heard on this website since joined and for such a special reason 2, its lovely x I will av an amazin 2 days as i get married on the 11/11/11 and then av me party on 12/11/11 :D if any1 dont like it they can do one! Ive never been so happy since bein we my h2b he gave me the best 7yrs of my life and continues makin my life better everyday,i have an amazin h2b and gorgeous daughter i 2 am very very lucky nowadays to the past i had xxxxxxxxxxx

essex_bride  @jenbridetobe I found that the closer to our wedding we got that a couple of people started to act strangely towards me, then the comments would start of
"I would never spend that silly amount on a wedding"
" Why would you want a photobooth and Caricaturist there"
"Why would you want a toast master"
" Why would you want so many guests" bla bla bla - Ummm because we want to, because we can!
It got to a point where it really frustrated me but after a while I saw that it was jealousy, The two people concerned were both recently married and it was their choice to have short engagements (under 9months) and to have low key weddings, in the end I just ignored it. They were both happy enough to come and share our day, eat the food and drink we paid for, to use the photobooth and caricaturist that we had paid for. Unfortunately some people can be very 2 faced, will say one thing and do another, Its just easier to ignore them as its your day so do what you want to x

boycee  @jenbridetobe it is sad to hear that some people (though hopefully a minority) act in this way. It just goes to show, that when it comes down to it, some people's true colours shine through. I would as the others have said just try to ignore them, and don't let them spoil the day you have been dreaming and planning for
