After loads of discussions I told the fiance he can have whatever cake he wants, only he has to sort it. He's decided he wants a pork pie wedding cake. Which is fine by me! I know quite a few people have done it before but there don't seem to be many suppliers. Should we approach a butcher near to our venue to see if they would make us one or is there another obvious solution I'm not seeing?
PS. I'm well aware this constitutes as "helping" him! Thanks ladies!

I had one of those as a suprise from my lovely wife. I was working as a press photographer at the time so was able to talk a local butcher into doing it as part of a story. Might be able to get a discount if you go down these lines, I know my local butcher loves the publicity.

fabulousfebruary@ajtimages We have had to go with a normal cake sadly. It was causing too much hassle in the end. Shame though cos it would have looked fab. Thanks for the advice though!
