My partner had a vasectomy July 2010. I have missed a period and now coming up for the second. We dont want any more kids, (we have 2 together and he has a son from a previous relationship.) He noticed i havent been myself and so i told him. I was reluctant to as i knew what conclusion he'd come to. I have reassured him i have been 100% faithful which i have. He's now demanding i do a test. I know i should but if it is positive i know he wont be able to believe me. Ive got no one else to talk to and im scared! I dont know what to do for the best. I know i have to do a test or go to the docors or something. Im going out of my mind!

futuremrsm@mrskent2b hey hun, ive just been reading some articles which say it is possible to get pregnant after having a vasectomy, did your h2b have a semen check after having the vasectomy? the best thing is to do a pregnancy test and not to panic (easier said than done i know) xx

mrskent2b@futuremrsm I have been googling it! Yes he did have a check and got the all clear. Im just scared its positive as he will doubt me and to be honest i cant blame him. I can understand why but just wish he could see how this is upsetting me. Thanks hun, i know i have to do a test but then it will be real, at the moment i can try to put it to the back of my mind and not deal with it! x x x

ina_vi@mrskent2b Oh hun, that's hell of a pressure to have for even a day... You should check it asap, just to get it done and over with There are so many reasons for missing your period, it is best to take care of that even if only to find the real reason I can't imagine living under so much stress for that long... I know it's hard to take the first step, but after that at least you'll have more info and idea what you have to do. xxx

l agree with the comments here, its best to find out as soon as possible. There could be any number of reasons youve not had your period. I can understand you being anxious. Things are never 100% but I think really its him you should be talking your worries through with. Im sure it will all be okay x

Well that was the longest 3 minutes of my life! The test came back negative! I think my main worry was that he wouldnt believe me and so it would have been months of doubt from H2B and as wedding is in 5 months that wouldnt have been good at all. Thank you all for your advice, deep down i knew what i had to do, just nice being able to get things off my chest. x x x
