@seckerette Not a lot of help but the florist I've chosen showed me a silk bouquet that was being collected today. It looked absolutely stunning and if it wasn't for me not being that bothered about flowers or sentimental enough to want to keep them (& H2B is being quite traditional) I would have considered it. You couldn't tell they were silk and it looked gorgeous emoticon

@seckerette I was not sure about getting silk flowers, but have decided to get them anyway, I found a lady on facebook who makes foam ones, I recieved them the other day and really glad I did as they are really nice and so much cheaper. I've put photos on my photoblog, if you want the take a peak. the top table one is made of silk flowers and looks nice x

@seckerette I got mine from the bridesbouquet.co.uk. I haven't put my photos on yet but there are some photos of her work similar on my blog. I'm so pleased with them. The lady who does them is called sam. Bridesbouquet is also on facebook. I ended up with my bouquet, 2 adult BM bouquets, flower girl bouquet and 15 button holes for just over £100. I just love them. I'm not really a flower person and didn't want to spend a huge amount of money on something that will die in a few days. they are perfect.

I had silk flowers - look at my photos, I was very pleased with them :o) the bridesmaids had them too. When hubby saw them he was impressed - he thought they would look horrible & fake but they didn't at all. The buttonholes we had were fresh flowers and you couldn't tell the difference until you looked up close. It was good because it meant we could collect our flowers the week before the wedding too!

hi i am having a mix of both on the day, my corsgaes, button holes, wrist corsages, wands are all fake my bouquet and the table decs are real this has greatly reduced costs and mean that people can keep the fake ones as a memory, i am having foam roses they look really realistic so i am happy with those xxx
