Wedding bows - how to stop from coming undone?

Hi Ladies,
I am using a chiffon ribbon to create a bow on the front of our invites. The problem I have is that I can make the bow look lovely and even, but it is not very secure as the fabric of the ribbon is kind of slippery. Even the slightest knock or pull will make it come undone again and I'm worried about how they will hold up in the post and when people are getting them out of the envelopes etc. Does anyone have any tips on how to stop chiffon bows from coming undone?

or a small dab of craft glue that dries clear?

would hairspray or clear nail varnish work? It's not something i've tried it myself but it might be worth a shot trying it on a spare piece of ribbon

Cut a v up into the ribbon. Glue would also help

You can buy chiffon bows for next to nothin on ebay, 2 b honest i think id buy them lol xx
