Just wondered what hymns you are all having, we went to see the vicar at the weekend and chose ours we're having all things bright and beautiful, jerusalem and lord of the dance and hoping that when we leave the church we can walk out to the theme tune to top gun as it's our fave film

@getmetothechurchontime I want to have Lord of the Dance, One More Step Along The World I Go and Shine, Jesus Shine but we're only allowed 2 plus I'm thinking as it's a Christmas wedding should I have a Christmas Carol? If so I'm thinking The First Noel and if I do that which hymn should I keep?

I love Jerusalem and did wonder whether to have that at my wedding but I only know two lines!

We are definitely having Brother, sister let me serve you and We plough the fields and scatter but then the minister said we need 3 or 4 so I am heading towards having One More Step Along The World I Go. We were originally going to have All things bright and beautiful however it was played at the funeral of a close family friend recently and think it might be too emotional as most people at my wedding were at the funeral too
