Wedding kilt hire, any recommendations?

boycee  mrshstobe hi ladies, i'm getting married next year and it's always been my dream to have all my men in kilts!!!! seems to be fate was on my side as my h2b and i met at a pipe band contest and he loves nothing better than to don a kilt!! so ther was no arm twisting in that department. my only issue is the page boys! i really really really want both of them in a kilt as i think it'll be super cute and then the whole day will tie together nicely. of course me being me hasn't chosen a nice easy tartan to find but one that is proving quite difficult. i'm after boys kilts (aged 2-3years) in an ancient macgregor tartan. i've found a company that makes them online but they are coming in quite expensive so i was hoping that if any of you have any ideas of where i might get them please let me know! even if i cold get my mitts on some material i'd have them made by my mum! we're getting married in northern ireland and the kilts there are limited to rent!! (all horrible! lol) being in a pipe band with my h2b we can kit out the men for next to nothing only having to rent their jackets and waistcoats! any ideas would be greatfully appreciated! thanx xx

pepzi25nic Hey, my h2b is going to be wearing a kilt on our wedding day too and hopefully his family too.
I know what you mean by saying they are not cheap, but we found my h2b's kilt (in his family tartan) on Ebay, so have a look on there.

boycee  sam2710 Calling other brides with H2B's in kilts!! My H2B is Scottish and is wearing the full kilt ensemble for our wedding. So far we have found a kilt in tartan we both like (that blends in with the colour scheme!!) from a company called Cameron Ross. They have branches all over the country so it doesn't matter than half of the grooms party are in the Midlands and half in Scotland, as they will all end up with the same kilts!! However, I would quite like to try some other similar companies just to make sure we are getting the best deal, but can't find any anywhere. Does anyone else have any recommendations??

jen150912 @sam2710 My h2b has bought his own kilt outfit, so he'll have it forever (or it falls apart) but our ushers will be hiring - not sure where from yet though! Try Moss Bros, Slanj, Cameron Ross is meant to be a good shop though. If your guys are all over the country then you will be better off going for a national company - just have to google I'm afraid! xx

kel_b @sam2710 My h2b hired his kilt for a friends wedding from Slaters. Hired it from one shop and returned it to a different one across the country. He said they were really good.
