Ok girlies any recomendations for a good mascara for the weddingday? I am a weeper so it will need to be super waterproof!
Also I plan on having a light(!) spray tan 2 days before the wedding. Does any know how many days before this I should get my legs and bits waxed??? I don't normally wax so dont want to be all spotty and irritated!

If you've never had a wax before it might be worth having one in advance to see how long the irritation (if any) lasts and then you'll know how many days before your tan to book it.
Id also recommend having a spray tan trial too if you've never had one. A friend of mine had a tan trial and its just as well as it was awful... it just didnt suit her at all.
I could do with trying different waterproof mascaras too tho - Im an emotional wreck at the best of times.
@gina130284 yeah I've had spray tans before but I'mjust going to get one coat. I was going to get a spray tan 3 days before I go to try my dress on when it comes in to makes sure it looks ok with the dress. I might get them waxed for xmas as a trial

cicmatag@mrsmorrisontobe have you thought of having your eyelashes tinted? it's permanent (well at least until your lashes fall out naturally lol) and makes a massive difference, I do it at home all the time as my lashes are blonde. As it's permanent it's waterproof and you might not even need mascara at all.
Or, you could have semi-permanent lash extensions done you could forget about mascara altogether, they are unbelievable. Even if you only get a half set, it will make your eyes pop out without the need for mascara and they last for weeks x

laraandsteve@mrsmorrisontobe I've heard about a mascara called 'blinc' It forms tiny water-resistant "tubes" around your lashes rather than painting them like conventional mascaras. Once applied, these beauty tubes bind to your lashes and cannot run, smudge, clump, or flake, even if you cry or rub your eyes.
My mums friend uses it and is the sort of person who only has the best!! She has to wash it off as make up remover doesn't take it off. Apparently it's quite strange to remove as it's like eye lashes coming off. I'm going to buy some of this x

mrsmorrisontobe@cicmatag I've tinted them myself in the past as I am so fair. Was thinking maybe getting them tinted and permed? They never hold the curl long after I've used my eye lash curlers so thought that might be easier.
Someone at work just had semi permanent eye lash extensions put in and she looked like she hd caterpillars crawling along her eyes so I'm not too sure!
@accidenallyme@lauraandsteve thanks girls the 'blinc' mascara get loads of good reviews. I couldn't see the dior backstage mascara but will keep looking.

I have yet to find a waterproof mascara that actually works for me, I don't know if my tears are made of acid, or what. As for the wax, I would recommend having a wax now to see how you feel. The first time I ever had my legs waxed it was one of the most painful things I've ever done. And I've had about 60 hours worth of tattoos. No joke, I'm quite hairy, but even so it was way worse than I was expecting. It also wasn't as effective as I expected, I dimly assumed my legs would be silky smooth but it left a lot of short fair hairs behind. It's not so much of a big deal if you're planning on waxing regularly as you'll get rid of all the hairs eventually but the results of one wax was disappointing for me. Also, my legs went all red and blotchy and took a couple of days to calm down, and did for the next couple of waxes, so it's not something I would recommend last minute!
