cicmatag@princess_chloe have a listen to Vitamin String Quartet, someone on this forum recommended them. They play classical/instrumental versions of all sorts of songs from Lady Gaga to Guns'n'Roses and Adele or Oasis. It's subtle enough to be played in the background but once guests recognise the songs it can be a good ice breaker / conversation starter and it keeps guests entertained until the ceremony starts x

For my four main pieces of music at the registry office I had vitamin string quartet versions of, 'Blackbird' by The Beatles, 'Somebody to Love' by Queen, 'Thunder Road' by Bruce Springsteen and 'Just Like Heaven' by The Cure. Apart from the usual your dress looks lovely type comment - loads of people said the music was really lovely
