Wedding night sex?

missmaxine  nope, it also depends on if he can "perform" after drinking lol. but yeah if your a "virgin" bride then that is the traditional time to lose it because its the first time possible to do so.

mrsclarke15_08_10  H2B and i had this conversation after i read about it in a mag, most people don't 'do the deed' on their wedding night as they're too tired!! were going to leave it to spontanity and if it doesn't happen it doesn't matter!!

elodiesmummy  We probaby will, we have a huge 4 poster to make use of lol.
Even if we are too tired on the night, morning sex will take its place instead. xx

I got a good tip though from a friend of mine. When you are just about to leave have you mum or bridesmaid undo your dress a little so you can get out of it safely in your room.

We also had this same conversation and worked out we would probably be too tired even though we're planning on an afternoon wedding. I can't imagine either of us being too drunk as we're not big drinkers but most people don't sleep well the night before, there's a lot of preperation still to do on the day and then after all the excitement, early morning party finishing etc I can't imagine many people would have the energy

shellyriannon  OK a slightly coarse heading!!!!! But here's what I think.... First time I got married, I had bought beautiful lingerie. We were so unorganised however (more to the point, my ex didn't do his job!!) we didn't have any transport to get to the travelodge (yes, travelodge!!) that my ex booked for us to stay in. And we hadn't packed over night bags! (I was only 19....) So his mother drove me to my mothers house, I took my dress off, put some jogging pants on over my lovely lingerie and grabbed my wash bag. We went to the hotel, I took my joggies off, my ex said "lovely" and then got his book out to read. NO JOKE! Then in the morning, we got up, and went to look at curtains. The day after, we went on our honeymoon... TWO DAYS after that, (I could have had the marriage anulled by then!!) he finally got round to feeling like "making love" when we were sunburnt & it wasnt particularly comfortable.... You See Why It Didn't Work Out??!!! He never really felt like that often....

ANYWAY the point I'm making is - look how I've remembered all that??? I think if you can manage to consummate your marriage either on the day or the morning after by making love you wont end up being bitter about it like me!!! LOL..... Good job I've got a gorgeous fiance now - and we have absolutely no problems in that area!!

mrscoe2b  i think whatever happens happens.i had a friend who banned her hubby from drinking n i just dont think thats very fair as its his day aswell!we have spoke about it but its not really something you can plan!we have said we will try "sneak off" but i dnt want all the family knowing what we are up to when we are not there!lol.x

angelp  Well, my HTB wants to consummate the marriage at midnight while our reception is going on!!!!!!!! We're having our reception in a hotel so it means that we'll have the bridal suite booked and my other half thought we could just nip off for half an hour - I'm not at all keen on the idea but I can't think of many arguments to dissuade him! He thinks it'll be fun! But surely the guests will notice we've disappeared!??!? Heeeellllppp!!!!

shellyriannon  LOL, well, if they notice, it'll kind of be accepted!!! I just hope for your sake that it is only half an hour.... don't let him drink too much!!!!!!!

lisaj  My htb was asking me to run through what was going to happen on the wedding day. I started reeling off the proceedings and ended it with - and then we go to bed and sleep cos we're shattered then we consumate the marriage in the morning.
he's such a stickler for knowing whats going on and when, if I do decide I want to in the night he'll probably say no, you said in the morning lol

mrs2b  Haha there is always a gap inbetween the meal and the evening do, so when you goup to get freashened up u never no! lol I say it happens if it happens on the night both depends what has been drunk! but i would say definatley on the morning!

this time im aiming to do it that night - just hope im not tired like i nomally am (i have naps in day nearly every day as i have disorder with blood holding iron and few other thing )

cherylbear  i have discussed this with h2b and if we are feeling brave we might pop up to the hotel room to freshen up between meal and evening, but im not going to bother to with sexy lingerie under my wedding dress just something sensable. but have some to put on in the morning cos we will both be to tired and drunk to get it on on the night. although there may be a massive hangover in the morning. but then we already live together so its not going to be anything we haven't done before so there's no pressure.

x0caitlin0x  I don't think we're going to have time between the meal and the evening, and I expect he'll be too drunk and I'll be too exhausted when we finally go up to bed! I have bought a sexy nightdress, though (backless wedding dress means I won't be wearing a sexy basque or bra underneath, so I'll have to change!) so I intend to throw that on when we go up, so he can see me in it no matter what we do afterwards. We'll probably end up doing it the following morning!

cheexy  i doubt my h2b will manage after a few drinks
plus we're coming home the night of our wedding as we don't have anybody to watch our baby and don't want to ask anybody to stay semi sober to look after him

we're booking into a hotel for 2nights after the wedding so i will prob have to wait,,,,,means i get to buy double the sexy undies tho

jetsettingbride  I've banned my hubby to be from any sexytime, between now and our wedding.... so I am guaranteed sexy time on our wedding night.... only another 24 days to go....

aisling  My Sam wants it to happen on the wedding night as it is traditional, plus we have a gorgeous 4 poster suite to play in! I may have to remind him of the effects of alcohol though! I'm not planning on drinking much as I want to remember the day!

clareandjason2012  if our engagement meal last night with our families and close friends was anything to go by for our wedding day, then i think we will probably do it the following morning though knowing my H2b he'll suprise me by wanting it on the wedding night as he's a traditional guy so we will see!
