 Hey girls

Now i'm not able to use the sunbeds i still want to get a lovely glow for the day

Does anyone have any suggestions on what tanning things to use as i'm petrified that whatever i use will rub off on my dress!
Any suggestions on what i should do or what you are doing yourself
Tried and tested Method anyone????
Thanks xx

i bought the amber solaire body mist fair/medium its brilliant i am so white and its just takes the white off me and its a lovely colour and i havent had it rub off yet.. ive been trialing it for my wedding so i think this is the product for me.. you just spray it on evenly no rubbing required just exfoilate before hand and just add moisteriser on knees elbows ankles and feet and hands and waists and spray..simple.. there is a face one too cost me overall £10 for them both.. hope this helps..xx

i use garnier self tan thats really good and never had a problem with streaky tan, i usually mix it with a blob of ordinary moisturiser so it dosent go too brown too quick x

@becky1305 there were some other fake tan recommendations here http://www.finalstitch.co.uk/forum/thread/to-fake-or-not-to-fake/, but a lot of people also recommend spray tans if you're concerned about rubbing off. Although, they also said that you should do a trial and make sure to moisturize to stop any streaks , x

I religiously use Loreal Sublime Bronze self tanning gel. The colour is amazing and its really easy to apply. The first time i used it I had very small marks on my feet but next time I just used less on that area. The only down side of it is the smell once the tan has developed but I always apply before bed and shower in the morning and its fine. xxx

@becky1305 The johnsons holiday skin is fab. Leaves your skin a lovely light golden colour so you don't look like you've been tangoe'd :D x

Expose from Savers works extremely well and only costs 99p! I was sceptical when Mum bought me some but now I use it most of the time. It's a mousse so absorbs quickly and doesn't leave you sticky. Gives a lovely bronzed colour. For my face I use Solait mousse from Superdrug, as it's the only one that works with my acne cream.

@kirstysmith If it's the tablets that have been in the news lately, then they're not approved by the Briitsh Medical Association and not to be touched as they don't know what's in them. Personally I'd rather be pale and interesting than have my fake tan rub off on my wedding dress (it happened to my friend!) but I've used the tinted moisturisers before and they've been good. I rarely tan so I'm not sure if I'll even be trying that for my day as I want to look like me x

I just tried Xentan dark lotion and it seems like it has came out quite good this morning. If you go the self tan route i would get someone to apply it for you so you dont miss any bits but have a practice with a few before your big day. I did have a spray tan when I was a bridemaid last year and it turned out quite well except under my armpits but it was only me that really noticed x
