What silly things are you looking forward to when you're married?

geordiebride  Have a different name at work and on my email! And of course going on a honeymoon 2 days after the wedding!!!! X

joski28  @mrsmorrisontobe don't forget the signature, my new ones going to be really hard with two s's in lol. I've been practising already. Being able to say "he's not in right now but I'm Mrs Massey, can I help you?" on the phone haha. Theres probably lots of others but I can't think of them lol x

clareandjason2012  being able to call myself Mrs Barber calling my H2B my Husband changing my name on everything (mostly being Clare Barber on facebook ) and going on honeymoon for 2 weeks! x

sheadpalmer  My best thing, and the first was getting a new email!! It matches his...haahaahaa so lame, but I LOVE IT!! Oh and the reaction when you change your name on facebook is AMAZING!! x

nickyhawkins  Changing my name on email at work so that no-one can find me in the directory! I've worked in the same Government department for 26 years, so that'll fool 'em!

missengaged  Not something silly, but something I really long for is to have the same name as my children and h2b!! Also, the same as @joski ! I too have been practising my signature, well have been for nearly 4 years now... (since we got engaged)!x

cicmatag  haha love the email idea too. It will seriously confuse everyone lol. There two Anna's in the office (out of the 7 people working there), they call us Anna P and Anna V (which is me). Anna P only recently got married and had a different surname before that (obviously), and I only just started with the company. Now from the end of June I will be called Anna T, I wonder how many people will get confused lol.
Oh and h2b's sister is also called Anna (and his auntie and his nan as well), so we'll both be called Anna Trubel
Also, my boss gets married one month after me, and I can't wait to introduce my h2b to her as my HUSBAND. This gives me goose bumps already just thinking about it :D

mrslightfoot  I can't wait to change my registration details with the gdc, so all my certificates will say Gemma Lightfoot and my surnames will no longer make me sound confused about my first name (my full name being Gemma Anne Alice Ormandy) as amusing as its been I'll be glad to be rid

jayneejayne  Completely with @missengaged having the same name as my H2B and two kiddies - we went into a restaurant and they said the surname when asking for the table reservation and my 7 year old went 'yes 3 Hatton's and 1 Leighton' meaning me as only my name is different - actually cried inside for a minute felt like someone they had picked up outside to join them lol xx

I know how you feel though, when my 4 year old daughter started school in September, one day we were walking out and the teacher said ''Mrs Ludwick...blah, blah, blah'', I just answered and Kaitlin was standing there saying ''her surname isn't Ludwick, it's Witton''!! Luckily I can say it will soon be the same..ha ha!! But know what you mean about that sinking feeling inside...talk about being an outsider...ha ha!!x

kookiebek  @nickyhawkins oh my goodness me you are never that age, you look in your mid twenties!! That has genuinely shocked me!!!
I loved it the first time someone called me Mrs Bennett and I had to respond!! It was really exciting. One of the most favourite things to do was the next day at a family do, asking if anyone had seen my 'husband', that was pretty special!xx

tinks1985  it's a long way off for me yet but i'm really looking forward to hanging my name on everything, changing my email address and changing my signature. But also being able to say "my husband" when talking about Dave. I am already getting a bit tired of saying "my fiance" lol

sophie2bgillies  This sounds daft but feeling that people actually recognise you as a 'stable' couple, even though that's not the case at all. I feel a lot of people still expect when i'm quite young that we're still going to break up even though we've been together 8 and a half years!!! Being able to change my facebook to being ' Married' and changing my name to Sophie Gillies, alongside a lovely wedding piccy :D and being able to check the married box instead of ticking single even though i haven't been since i was 15!! xx

mrsjjonestobe  @ sophie2bgillies Know exactly what you mean about 'stable' couple, even though we have been together 12 and a half years and have a child together. Most of our friends are married already, albeit not been together as long as us but i feel they have always felt we are not secure together cos of not being married!! Also can't wait to tick the 'married' box as well , been waiting long enough lol xx

I completely and totally agree with @sophie2bgillies, people actually recognising us as a stable couple, even though we have been together 9 years.

I was angered a couple of years ago when we went to a financial advisor about changing our mortgage product and he said 'we have a 10 year fixed product but then again anything could happen in 10 years and I hate to say it but you may not be together in 10 years' only to find out the same advisor had sold my friend & her husband that product without batting an eyelid, they're married but have been together 3 years less than Andrew and I. Grrr!

sophie2bgillies  @jezibella83 I'm so glad i'm not the only one. I was utterly humiliated by a financial adviser who told me my relationship could break down even though I was engaged. I could have slapped her! Needless to say I complained and my mum and dad actually withdrew all their savings from them as they were that appalled by how she spoke to me! xx

sophie2bgillies  @laraandsteve i don't think she was, no.She also told me i had barely any money, i probably wouldn't get the job i applied for and that my savings wouldn't last long! Absolute bitch! My mum was raging! I almost cried and felt like crap. Oh and my mum still puts money into my savings account every month for future help with a deposit for a house and she had the absolute cheek to ask why my mum and dad were still giving me money at my age!!!!! Sorry kind of going off tangent hehe xx

tinks1985  @missglovesteas my h2b has an iphone 4s and he's programmed me in as "the wife" so when he wants to phone me he just tells it to call the wife and it does. I loved it the first time i saw him do it

mrsfirth_in2012  to change my name on everything, to be able to correct people who automatically assume im a Miss and say actually no its Mrs ha, to start trying for our first baby and having the same name when he/she arrives and so many other things. I cant get my new signature right but have only recently started trying so will work on that xxx
