What wedding gifts do you have for your bridal party?

sues07  The bridesmaids I've got a personalised bracelet for them, mums a leather jewellery box, dads a pint glass engraved, pageboys engraved yo yos, best man a engraved guitar pic think that's it?!

dancing_girl  We're getting personalised compact mirrors for our bridesmaid and mums, and personalised tankards for the best man, ushers and dads. We wanted to get things that they can keep and use. Xx

duffy86s  i agree compact mirrors are a good keepsake. pocket watches are popular for the men. ive not really decided yet.

rach3  weve got the men engraved tankards and i was thinking of jewellery boxes for the girls. Im still not sure tho x

loz2879  im getting jewellery boxes for flower girls with a little braclet, my bridesmaids are having a piece of jewellery dunnow hat yet though! as for the ushers and best man god knows!! also are you ll getting flowers for mum and mum in law?? cos its tradition isnt it?
i think im gonna wait for january sales and hopefully grabs some baragin gifts!lol x

littlemissshowoff  I'm getting jewellery for my bridesmaids but that's all I've decided. I'm going to get my mum and mum-in-law flowers, but I prob wont' give them to them on the day (my mum lives in Ireland but the wedding's in Scotland, so I don't want her to have the bother of trying to get a big bunch of flowers home afterwards). Also, I'm going to get my brother a present because he's signing the register for me, but he's been best man twice before so already has a pocket watch and cufflinks, and he doesn't drink at all so don't want to get him a tankard or hip flask. I'm totally stuck on an idea for him.

lf1975  We got necklaces for our bridesmaids (free with our wedding rings!), haven't thought about the others yet. We get a voucher for a night away in a hotel from our venue (it's a Ramada hotel) - I think I might give that to my Dad as he's helped us out financially and made vases for all the tables too.

cheexy  the jewlery that im giving my bridesmaids in the morning to wear with their dresses, earings and bracelets, are their presents as we bought their dresses and shoes also

x0caitlin0x  We've got necklaces (crosses for my sisters, a heart for his sister) for the bridesmaids, with their own personalised silver boxes (from Confetti - cheap but not too obviously so, I hope!) The best man is getting an engraved pocket watch (if we ever get round to ordering one) and we've bought the older usher an engraved hip-flask. Still stuck for the younger usher - he's 17 and we want to get him something that he'll appreciate now but that he'll still want to use later in life! We're just getting the traditional flowers for the mums.

mrscoe2b  My bridsmaids are all getting their main prezzis the night before they have a bag containing; dressing gown with names and bridsmaid on them, a mug saying bridsmaid and our purple butterfly image, an options hot choc all different flavours so they can swap!, mini marshmallows, chocolate buiscits, a lip gloss,a tiara, braclet/cuff and a thank you card.then during the speechs we will hand them a small photo frame which i will have put a message in saying they can choose their fave pic of themselves and me on the day.
the boys will get in their bag cufflinks,a beer,beer glass,doritos and a mini bottle of aftershave and card.then during speeches they too will get photo frames but i think that will be more appriciated by their wags!lol
as for our parents they are getting baskets with a photo frame, wine,candle,bubble bath,a potted plant and other bits i think of between now and then.phew!it sounds alot but its not costing as much as it sounds!lol.

meeeshel  I found these gorgeous trinket boxes on ebay with shoes on the top, and as 2 of my bridesmaids are very "shoe" girls, I thought they'd be perfect and get them engraved with "thankyou for being my bridesmaid". My sisters not very girly so i'm not sure what to get her, i'll have to have a think. And my little niece i'll either get a teddy or might get her a trinket box too as she's growing into a very girly girl as well!!!

thomastobe  We have bought my bridesmaids a gorgeous jewellery boxes each and my flowergirl a lovely childs jewellery box too. The Best men we have bought pocket watches which has an engraved message from both of us , our 2 paige boys we have got little teddies with the welsh tartan on it for the Thomas name so looks like we are all sorted with the gifts and my mum and my other half mum we are going to buy a lovely boquet of flowers for them so all sorted yay as there is such much to do and remember x

I was just wondering what people are doing for gifts. when we ordered our wedding rings we have 3 free necklaces which are silver with a little heart on. i am thinking on giving these to the 3 little flower girls who are 2,3 and 7. i don't know tho.

I don't really want to spend too much money but the 2 little flower girls will be about 20.00 each with the doll and bracelet. the older flower girl who is 7 i will get a bracelet but then i don't know what else. and who knows for the other people!! our ushers are both mine n my hubby's brothers.

pinkcharms  i really dont know i think my mother in law to be and my h2b are going to sort out my moms and the best man and then page boy and i am going to sort out my two bridesmaids flower girl and my mom but for my mom and my two bridesmaids i was just going to get a little candle set or some thing and for my flower girl some make up or bath set as they all said dont want any thing big. and then maybe some thing little to say thanks.

mrskelmantobe  @mrscoe2b , love your ideas! i have already bought my bridesmaids their complete outfits and jewlery to wear on the day but want to give them pressie too. was already going to get them a fluffy white robe but love the idea of putting it in gift bag with other goodies. think im going to give mums a photoframe each on the reception to put in a nice photo of the day. x

clairemugford  hello i am not too sure what to get my adult bridesmaid, my 7 yr old flower girl, my best man and my ushers.
i am getting my 2 little flower girls a butterfly bracelet, a thank u doll which is in my photo blog, a photo frame and they have a necklace which came free with my wedding rings.
the 7 year old so far has the necklace but not sure what else.
the ushers are our brothers and i was thinking along the lines of usher socks and cufflinks
best man i dont have a clue!!

dora2011  Me and my H2b and half our attendants are fans of Supernatural so we're giving the bridesmaids Mary Winchester's bracelet (which is stunning) and for the men were giving them Dean Winchester's Neckless/Choker. For our page boy (my lil man) we're going to get him the trains Donald And Douglas (thomas the tank) simply because were marrying in scotland and they are the scottish twins!! Shall put them in his sporun to keep him occupied during ceremony...But we're un decided on what to get for our little bridesmaids xx

debbieandjaysbigday  @lou81 we are thinking of getting a guitar pick to give as a gesture to H2B's best friends girlfriend - He passed away suddenly in march this year before we had chance to tell him about our engagement or to ask him to be a part of our big day! We really want to mark the occasion and honour his memory, so thought this would be really special. We are also going to the grave the day before to put a buttonhole on the graveside. I found the guitar picks on ebay - check my first (main) photoblog

aisling  I've found this really hard too but finally decided on these so far:

2 bridesmaids, pageboy (all aged 4) and bestman junior (aged 8) - embroidered cushions with their initial and a rose on which I'm making myself, hopefully something they will keep as well as practical for the day as they will know where to sit.
Mum, stepmum & mum-in-law - potted miniature rose and ivy plants which we're having as table centre pieces (there are 4 so I get one too), and a picture frame
Don't know yet what to get the dads and bestman.

I also want to get h2b's sister something, she's one of my best friends, I wouldn't have met Sam without her and we wouldn't be together if she hadn't said yes when I asked her permission to ask out her brother!

essex_bride  Ive just been starting to think about the gifts and have purchased a few...
-For the two Flower Girls we have purchased a beautiful pink and silver Princess Photograph frame and a me to you Bridesmaid bear.
-For The four adult bridesmaids were are getting them a silver plated photograph frame that will be engraves and on the day Im getting the photographer to take a photograph of them with their partners/husbands that I will then get a copy to give them to put in.
- For the parents (His Mum and Dad and my Step Mum and Dad) we are doing a joint present and buying them a silver plated frame which will be engraved and once we get the photographs from the photographer they can choose one that they like which we will get enlarged to go into the frame, will also be giving his Mum some flowers.
-For My Mum who has done so much for us over the past three years and for me over the years we are going to get a beautiful bouquet of flowers made up by our florist , an engraved photograph frame and I have bought a willow tree ornament for her called Mother and daughter as a gift from me.

We are still debating on gifts for the Best man and two ushers, and for our son who is page boy.
