Recently met with vicar and have been given a few weeks to get back to him with our choice of hymns. Problem is we have no idea!!! Wondered what you lovely ladies are having and if there was any particular reason for your choices.

mrsthompsontobe@mrskent2b we're having 'Give me oil in my lamp' because I used to sing it at school and it's an upbeat song that we both know and we're having 'One more step', again it's an old school song, upbeat and about moving on to the next step. I didn't want old fashioned boring hymns that noone would want to sing, and definitely didn't want 'All things bright and beautiful'.... everyone has that!! Hope you find some you like hun xxx

We're having lord of the dance, jerusalem and all things bright and beautiful, everyone know the words to that song and yes everyone has it, my sister had it at her wedding and we always sang it at school too
