Hi all, I've just posted a couple of tiaras, some hairpins and some purple organza favour bags on the marketplace, but I just wondered if anyone has actually used the marketplace? I've seen people's blogs which say they've listed things, but didn't know if anyone had successfully sold or bought through it? I know most of feel that ebay is a bride's best friend so wondered whether that would have more success than on here? Look forward to hearing from you all! Xx

your post has actually made me look at it again; i stopped looking so much when it got filled with dresses from one or two people who obviously sold for a living - i like it as it is now, genuine people selling stuff they no longer need rather than all one type of item.....

dancing_girl@matts_mrs, @emmalouise, @wilsonsoon2bcollins, @googlebug85, @meeeshel Thank you girlies. How do you actually go about buying and selling the items? If you want to buy something do you send a cheque to the seller? What about postage charges? Doesn't seem as clear cut as Ebay Xx

dancing_girl@meeeshel Yes I know what you mean, it did seem to be dominatedd by 'professional' sellers rather than us final stitch brides to be. It put me off too, but does seem much better at the moment. Xx

I'm selling some ring cushions on there (I bought a small job lot from eBay as I wanted a few of the items). I've sold one so far and another one going next week, I hope.
I brought one to the post office and got the price for 1st and 2nd class post so people can choose which they want. My buyer sent me a cheque and I sent her the cushion, the second buyer has agreed to do the same.
I have a bridal outfit on there as well at the mo, it belongs to a friend of mine.

dancing_girl@googlebug, @aisling Thanks for your replies ladies. Seems to be quite flexible, and up to the buyer and seller to arrange it to suit them. Will let you all know how I get on with the little bits I'm selling! Xx

matts_mrs@aisling I've given H2B your details to send the cheque out but, he has a brain like a sieve at the moment. If he doesn't send it today or over the weekend it will deffo be sent out Monday. x x
