 Hi @boycee here's my input!

www.invitingweddinginvitations.co.uk for DIY and ready made invitations - the lady who runs it has been really helpful to me, I've got my DIY pocketfolds from her. They were recommended to me by @wilsonsoon2bcollins

Also www.flutterbyweddings.co.uk - I got mine and my 3 BM hair pieces from them. Their service is superb, and prices include P&P. They were recommended to me by @bubs789

Also www.carnmeal.co.uk for ribbon/decorative bits for everything and anything - their ribbon is the cheapest I found, and is great quality - @missengaged recommended them to me

Oh, also www.thebagnboxman.co.uk - I got my favour tags and bags from them - also great quick service, and samples are sent out really quickly.

I can also recommend www.thefavourboxshop.co.uk I got my square boxes from there for £0.20 each

Elma Jewellry on ebay for wedding rings - excellent service, very quick delivery and bargain prices

Like @jen150912 I've also used carnmeal for ribbon

If your having a marquee reception try www.your-marquee.co.uk I've been dealing with the manging director for our wedding marquee and he's even been understanding when I've been panicking and sending him emails everyday.

Were using www.finercatering.co.uk for the wedding breakfast and have to say they may not be the cheapest around but the quailty looks outstanding

They were absolutely lovely and every time I've been back in they've been really really helpful. Plus the dresses are so much cheaper than anywhere else I've seen.

I got my dress at Angelique Lamont in Glasgow too emoticon It was the best bridal shop i went in to, made me feel welcome and comfortable. Unlike some of the other snotty nosed assistants elsewhere! They'd be the first i'd recommend to anyone. Also for photography we're going with Waverley laura @waverleyphotography.co.uk its only costing £350 for the full day, unlimited photos on a disc and 12 prints of you're choice. she's lovely and has a great portfolio she showed us of modern (funny and classy) shots and traditional. x

 Hiya,
Got a reccomendation for down South in Hampshire. Cameo Brides of Drayton were so friendly and helpful regarding wedding dresses. They were the first shop I went to and I was a bit nervous, but they put me at ease and explained the whole process and spent loads of time with me helping me try on different styles and giving opinions and suggestions. I have been to other shops since and none of them have compared with the service at Cameo. I haven't bought my dress yet as the wedding is June 2012, but I have found one I love. Cameo took down my details and registered my interest in that dress so that if heaven forbid it is discontinued between now and then, they can let me know straight away so I can still get in to order it in time. Their website is cameobridesofdrayton.co.uk

 Cornish recommendations that i have used so far;

'Amanda K Bridal' of Perran-ar-Worthal for myamazing San Patrick dress.
'Absolute Canvas' are just the best people in the marquee world! they have become firm friends and we have an amazing deal with them. We have also hired 2 fountains from them a chocolat eone for the kiddies and a baileys one for the adults emoticon
'Linda Ellis photography' staying for as long as we want her to on the day from first thing, we get ALL photos on a disc and dvd and a few 'special' prints for £600.
'Emma Hosking' florist, another lady that has turned into a friend!
'Sprinkles Speciality Cakes'-Melinda King, £200 for 3 tiers to feed 150 with floral dec form my own design.
'Praze Carriage Company'-for my horse drawn carriage-just quite simply beautiful horses and carriages.

Will add more as and when i book!

All of my suppliers are Dorset based, but these are the ones I would recommend:

* Debbie and Sandra at The Card & Favour Company for chair covers, sashes and swags. www.thecardandfavourcompany.co.uk

* Jess at The Poundbury Florist for amazing flowers. She is so lovely, really professional and really knows her flowers! She did all the bouquets, buttonholes, corsages, church decorations and table decorations at the reception. www.poundburyflorist.co.uk

* David Brown for photography. I love his style, he's really professional and very easy to work with. Beautiful formal shots and lovely reportage work too. He isn't the cheapest, but we decided that photography was something we would be prepared to pay more for as you keep the photos forever. He offers a good range of packages, and actually he ended up staying far longer than we had agreed! www.dbrownphotography.com

* Andy Plummer at Travelling in Style provided us with a fabulous Rolls Royce Silver Shadow car which took my dad and I to the church and then Simon and I from the church to the reception venue. Really reasonable prices, almost half what everyone else was charging! www.weymouthweddingcars.co.uk

* DJ Tony Scott did the DJing and managed to have everything which was requested from The Prodigy to traditional Foxtrots with a bit of salsa in the middle. He was set up and ready to go when we asked him to be and was very professional.

* Athelhampton House and Gardens was our reception venue and I cannot recommend them enough. They aren't the cheapest option but you really don't have to worry about a thing; they do it all for you. From setting everything up before you get there, to prompting the terrified best man on what to say and when, the staff there were amazing. The food and wine choices are wide and the quality is excellent. Brilliant! www.athelhampton.co.uk

* Holy Trinity RC Church in Dorchester is my parish church so I am slightly biased, but it really is beautiful, and our marriage service was wonderful. www.holytrinitycatholicchurchdorchester.org.uk

* Alison at Abbey Brides in Sherborne came to my rescue when I decided that I wanted a veil just weeks before the wedding. They also have a gorgeous selection of dresses and were lovely when I went to try on dresses with them. I didn't get my dress from them, but only because they didn't have 'The dress'. www.abbeybrides.co.uk

I got my dress from Butterfly Brides in Poundbury, Dorchester, and it is difficult to know whether to recommend them or not. The shop itself stocks a good range of different styles and designers with a good range of price tags too. The girls in the shop were lovely when I went to try on dresses with my mum and were great at all my fittings. However, those of you who read my posts will know that I had a huge amount of hassle with the dress alterations. The shop do not have their own seamstress but 'outsource' to a lady whom they have an arrangement with. My dress alterations were not completed until just a few days before the wedding, which I was absolutely appalled by. The girls in the shop assured me it would be ready in time and that although the alterations were taking a long time they would be perfect when they were done. Now I do quite a lot of dressmaking, (I made my bridesmaids dresses!) and my dress alterations were not what I would have called perfect. But I was just relieved to have my dress! I am still completely baffled as to how and why it took three months and six fittings to add some straps and take up the hem!
So I suppose this is a word of warning, Butterfly Brides is a lovely shop with lovely staff and a lovely selection of dresses, but DO NOT use them for alterations.

i used wedding wise in barrhead near glasgow for 2 of my bridesmaid dresses. The shop has a small range of bridesmaid dresses (about 15 i would say) mostly by romantica but they are reasonable priced and the lady was really helpfull at all our visits she sent text messages reminding us of fittings and appointment times without being pushy and even sent the spare material from one girls dress to another shop in yorkshire for the seamstress in the other shop to use for one of my bridesmaids that couldnt make it to glasgow.
she wasnt greedy ( i saw a dress in there for myself which i fell in love with and she wouldnt let me try it on as i already have my dress from another shop....she could of easily talked me in to buying it for an extra bit of money but she didnt ...she even hid it next time i went in so i wouldnt be tempted)

    Swansea, Glamorgan/Morgannwg
My venue has been my biggest success so far - Manor Park Country House, Clydach in Swansea (http://www.manorparkcountryhouse.co.uk/). They can do two weddings at once, so if that bothers you then unless you book a day where the other half is definitely being used for a conference or something then it's possibly not the place for you, but otherwise I can't recommend it highly enough. It's very much at the affordable end of the spectrum, and they just pile on the extras for you. We're having six or seven different chair sash colours and an oddly shaped top table, and they were totally fine with it. Also, as we're having a late ceremony and wedding breakfast we aren't having one of their evening buffets, just a chocolate fountain (which we hired elsewhere). This means that we essentially aren't paying for anything in the evening. Not only were they fine with that, they also told us that if we want to bring in any small nibbly things just in case they'll put them in bowls for us. Extremely generous! And Babs the wedding co-ordinator is lovely, although it may be touch and go whether or not she shuts up long enough for the ceremony itself to happen...

Otherwise, my dress is by Allison Jayne (http://www.allisonjayne.com/home.htm) who were lovely, and genuinely felt like they were as excited about my wedding as I was. Chocolate fountain is by Aliyah's Chocolate Fountains (http://aliyahschocolatefountains.com/), who are charging £250 for unlimited dips, and just about every kind of dip under the sun, too! And they always use good quality chocolate. Even my venue recommended them, and when we asked for a tasting not only did they oblige, they also got out a banana specifically for me to test when I mentioned they're my favourite fruit.

I'll probably have more once the day's gone by, too, but those are the big three I can think of now. Unless anyone would like me to recommend my crazy pack of aunts, who may be crazy but are also making my wedding cake, and they really do make exceedingly good cake.
